Trifluridine/tipiracil hydrochloride mixture (TAS-102) is a potent and orally active nucleoside antitumor agent. It is a 1:0.5 molar mixture of alpha,alpha,alpha-tri-fluorothymidine (FTD) and thymidine phosphorylase inhibitor (TPI). TAS-102 exerts its antitumor activity primarily by inhibiting thymidylate synthase (TS) and incorporating into DNA. In vivo, it has been shown to prevent body weight loss and reduce relative tumor volume in colorectal and gastric cancer mouse models. Several clinical trials are associated with TAS-102 for various conditions like Colorectal Cancer and Gastric Adenocarcinoma.

Nucleoside-Analog-1 is a click chemistry reagent containing an azide group. It can participate in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reactions (CuAAc) with molecules that have alkyne groups. Additionally, it can undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
